The film is a self portrait of a 17 year old girl. ”When I try to summarize myself, try to describe my world, the most significant things are the escapism, the dreams and the struggle to get away from the performance anxiety and the insomnia.
I made my film in one single take without really knowing what I wanted to find out. My aim was to create a self portrait that wasn’t so contrived and that actually bore some traces of me. I wanted to recognize my-self in the images, and talk about things that I felt were relative. Even though the work process wasn’t very structured, I managed to piece some-thing together that I truly can say is me.”
