The bull-dozers reached the Meyer Studios´ magnificient building, not to tear it down, but to drag out the dirt floors and renovate the place for an architect firm. It was at this point, with the century coming to an end that the filmmakers decided it was time for some of the big questions.

Håkan Alexandersson, Gert Fylking and Krister Broberg took over the Sigtuna-foundation, shared the cantina with the Bible-commision and got at it with their mission...to study the Bible. The Old Testament, more precisely, God´s chosen one as the last good man on earth, Noa, and the subsequent Flood.

It is a God taken directly from Doré´s famed bible illustrations shown speaking to the poor, sheep-herder, Nils Olof Andersson. Because of their evil tendencies, God wants to annihilate all people from the face of the earth. He´s done it once before, but this time he hesitates. He wants to give them one last chance, and allots a mission to Nils Olof Andersson.

N.O.A.´s mission is to follow the first person that comes his way, and then drive the evil from that person´s heart. If it succeeds within 120 days, God will let mankind continue for a while longer. If it fails, God will contaminate the people of earth with a lethal cold.

Nils Olof meets Gabriel Goofer... and is drawn to the sin and flash of the big city. He soon forgets his mission from God in the midst of the good life...
