Autumn Man Down Under
Autumn Man, directed by Jonas Selberg Augustsén won the novella film prize at Göteborg International Film Festival in February. Now it´s time for the international premiere, at the Melbourne International Film Festival, July 22 – August 8, 2010. Autumn Man is part of the short film competition.

Winner Autumn Man
Friday February 5 the jury gave us the verdict. Best Novellafilm at The Göteborg International Film Festival 2010, Autumn Man directed by Jonas Selberg Augustsén. Besides the honour the prize is Euro 20 000:- in cash.
And the jury said:
"For a personal, visuell and poetic film with absurd humor. With positive inspiration from Kaurismäki and Roy Andersson Autum Man has shaped it´s own special style. The skies and dream scenes are fantastic.".

  The Autumn Man to open at the Göteborg International Film Festival
February 4 at 20.00 and February 5 at 10.00 are the premiere screenings for The Autumn Man directed by Jonas Selberg Augustsén. The film is competing for the novella film prize worth 20 000 euros. The film was shoot in Övertorneĺ in the North of Sweden in September 2009 and is supported by Swedish Television, The Swedish Film Institute and Filmpool Nord. The dialogue is spoken in the local language mienkäli. The director will be joined by the main actors Anton Raukola and Adam Huuva in Göteborg.

  The Tale of an Artist's Brush winner in Florence
The latest film by Andreas kassel had its world premiere in Italy. The film won two prizes at the 49th edition of Festival dei Popoli in Florence. The prize for best short documentary and a grant for distribution in Italy.

  Rampling, York and Hauer
October 7 was the starting day for the shooting of The Mill and the Croos, directed by Lech Majewski, in the polish cty of Katowice. Bokomotiv is co-producer of this production where we can see Charlotte Rampling as Virgin Mary, Ruger Hauer as the painter Bruegel and Michel York as Bruegels assistant. The Mill and the Cross is the 12th film Majewski has directed. Among other things he also wrote the script for the film Basquiat. He is also travelling the world with his art work. He also have a great reputation for as opera director.

In the Land of the Cranes by director Lisa Hagstrand will be screened as work in progress at the 6th Doclisboa, 16-26 October.

  The Tree Lover released nationwide
October 17th The Tree Lover by Jonas Selberg Augustsén opens nationwide, from Luleå in the North to Lund in the South.
Already the 12th of October the Gala Opening takes place at Edenborg Bio in Harads, a little village of 1000 inhabitants in the Norh of Sweden. This is the place where the film was shoot.

  Bokomotiv in Polish project
We are ready to start. 300 costumes are prepared. In October the principal shooting begins. Director Lech Majewski makes Peter Brugels painting ”The Way to Calvary” comes to life in the film ”The Mill and the Cross”. Among the actors we can see Charlotte Rampling. Majewskis last film ”Glass Lips” was screened at the Göteborg International Film Festival in February this year.
